Talking About: Trust
It can't just be me, I have issues trusting people in general, especially guys. But what happens when some one you know, as a friend, tells you that they want something more. Are there two types of trusts? If i go to know a guy as a friend would our trust change with the nature of our relationship. It's been hard battling with the decision to even put myself out there to my "friend" and now that it's been made clear that the feelings are mutual, I find that there has been very little change but we've never acted on the feelings we just put them out there. This scares me because I let very few people end and if things end bad with us that's one less person I have that I can confide in.
The other part to this thing is family. I am finding it real hard to trust people in my family. It's crazy because I've never had this problem before but now that I'm older and seeing things a
lot more clearer i am starting to see peoples true colors. I never realized how self centered and inconsiderate of my feelings they could be. I just don't understand why of all people i should have to watch, I have to watch my own blood. They say blood is thicker than water but not always. Some blood is just red water in disguise. It's crazy how things change from the way they were when we were growing up, but I guess that's life.
Moral of this story: You can't trust everyone the same way, I am starting to believe different relationships have different trusts, and sometimes you can't trust family as far as you can throw them.
What do you think??
